Planning is indispensable to development. Our role as planners and facilitators of integral decentralized community-based planning contribute much to the crafting of realistic and responsive plans of our localities. Planning our development strengthens local autonomy towards sustainable development and better ecology.

The organization of the League of Local Planning and Development Coordinators (LLPDC) at the regional level institutionalizes and professionalizes local development planning as a major component of development. It enhances effective coordination between national agencies and the local planners for the attainment of defined national, regional and local goals and objectives. It acts as the voice of its members for important executive and legislative actions for development. It also serves as the venue and forum for sustained professionalization of all planning officers so that a cohesive planning and development task is deliberately implemented as the phased operations of the league, working as a Non Government Organization.

As planning and development offices, to be abreast with advancing technology and development, one mechanism rests on the creation of our regional Website. Through the website w could maintain better linkaging with all the members and all our partners in development. The league can update its members on vital issues and development trends as basis for unifying and conveying inter-provincial league actions focusing on one direction to support the regional and national development goals.
